Monthly ROund Up

The first match between Arsenal and WBA saw the introduction of French Superkid SAmir NAsri, wo apparently scored in that game with Arsenal winning 1-0.

Second match of the season against Fulham was utter disaster for us as we lost to them with the scorer being Hangeland. It was disappointing match for us as we dint create enough chances as we usually do. Adebayor came close to scoring but only to hit the post.

Next Match again FC Twente saw the return of Fabregas after an injury. There wasnt any signs of what we had done in the last match as we thrashed the Dutch team 4-0 with NAsri, GAllas, Bendtner and Walcott scoring. THe aggregate was 6-0

Arsenal thumped Newcastle United to register their second win of the league. There was terrific interpassing which eventually led to goals.There were 2 back passes inside the box scored by Van Persie and Denilson. VP had also scored a penalty earlier this match. Score 3-0

The 4th match against Blackburn saw the first hattrick in the season with Adebayor scoring his first second and third goals. A superb run by Walcott and passing it to RVP who fnished it superbly was the first. score 4-0

Champions League Match day 1
Arsenal were on Ukraine for this match. We conceded a penalty which gave the home team an advantage till the 88th minute where captain gallas scored. It was a scrappy goal but we deserved it. "There were repeated attempts by Kyiv to destroy Walcott"-Arsene Wenger was furious about this and the way the referee handled it.
